about

One day early pandemic 2020,
I walked way out in the country
barren soil wide sky
opening my heart to hear beyond fear, & I asked for help:
“so what do I need to know that I know right now?”

This song immediately responded
& it’s been a good friend since,
reminding me to stay grounded in my body and in devotion
when I don’t know what else to “do”.......
Marching orders.

>> Decomposing is messy <<
( Verbs that help and verbs that don’t )
Welcoming the wisdom in the underneath layers that’ve been silenced for .... generations
Takes patience

I love the Rumi poem that the second half comes from:
“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love.
It will not lead you astray.“

The third part mimics the muscle we grow with meditation:
Stay right here.

I hope this song befriends your soul soil amidst uncertainty.

lyrics

Keep Walking
Keep Singing
Keep Praying
Keep Trusting
Keep On
Letting go into Love

"I will let myself be silently drawn
by the strange pull
of what i truly love"

I will let my heart break
new world opening
i am guiding my mind
stay right here
